What you’re paying for

An asbestos inspection isn’t just a walk-through — you’re paying for a licensed, experienced assessor to identify and evaluate risk, and to give you documented findings you can act on and rely on. Cheap-and-vague can cost far more later.

What affects the price

The main factors are the size and type of property (a unit vs a large commercial site), access (roof spaces, subfloors and concealed areas take longer), the number of samples sent for laboratory testing, and the type of output you need — a simple inspection, a full survey, or a workplace register.

Getting an accurate quote

Because every property is different, the honest answer is: tell us about your property and what you’re planning, and we’ll give you a clear, fixed quote — no vague hourly surprises. For renovations or demolition, the right survey scope also affects price, so it’s worth a quick conversation first.

Note: prices vary and we don’t publish fixed figures because quoting blind does customers a disservice. We’ll always give you a transparent quote up front.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Is the cheapest inspection the best value?
Rarely. A thorough, licensed inspection that catches everything is far cheaper than a missed material discovered mid-renovation.
Does testing cost extra?
Laboratory testing of samples is usually priced per sample, so the total depends on how many materials need confirming.
Can you quote over the phone?
We can give you a good indication once we know the property size, age and what you’re planning, then confirm a fixed quote.
Do you service my area?
We cover Newcastle, Lake Macquarie, the Hunter Valley, Upper Hunter, Port Stephens and the Central Coast.
